Akbar Hoffman (Newark East Side (N.J.) High School/ 5-11/ 2014) scored 27 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead the White All-Stars to a win over the Black All-Stars in the final game at the Hoop Group’s Elite I Camp at Albright College. Hoffman was named the game’s MVP.

NBA Division MOP Abdul Lewis (6-8/ 2014), also of Newark East Side, capped his week by netting six points, three rebounds and two assists in the game. –@pfebbraro

NCAA White 70, NCAA Black 54
Behind a second quarter 22-2 run, NCAA White came away with a 70-54 win in the all-star game.

MVP Dwight Whitlock scored a game-high 21 points en route to the victory, capped off by a powerful two-handed dunk at the final buzzer.

NCAA Black was led by Cory Hicks, who scored all of his 14 points (12 from three-point range) in the final quarter.

NCAA White held a commanding 32-8 lead at the half, but NCAA Black brought the deficit to single digits midway through the fourth quarter.

From there, Whitlock and Ryan Matthews, who scored 11 points, scored 10 straight points to widen their margin to 19 point. –@AndrewKoob
