The Hoop Group Lehigh Valley Showcase flaunts the area’s premier basketball talent, and brings in teams from outside the area and state, to share in the exhilarating atmosphere of Lehigh Valley High School Hoops.  This year’s showcase is set for Sunday January 24th, at Parkland High School.

Every year, the Hoop Group Lehigh Valley Showcase pulls some of the best talent from Pennsylvania and surrounding states.  The event hosted over 25 NBA players during their high school years including Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers), Luol Deng (Miami Heat), Tyler Ennis (Milwaukee Bucks), JR Smith (Cleveland Cavaliers), Tyreke Evans (New Orleans Pelicans), Ty Lawson (Houston Rockets), Tristan Thompson (Cleveland Cavaliers) and Jameer Nelson (Denver Nuggets)

Tip off is set for 11:30 AM as Harrisburg will take on Bishop McNamara from Maryland. The second game features local favorite Allentown Central Catholic vs. perennial state power Chester.  The third game features national powers Westtown versus Cushing Academy from Massachusetts and includes some of the top prospects in the country.  The host school Parkland takes on Philly titan Imhotep Charter in the nightcap.
