Many Hoop Group alum have succeeded at many different levels, from the NBA, Division 1 as well as small colleges and in high school. On this page we will look at some of the Hoop Group alumni coaches who have excelled teaching the game of basketball.
The history of our weekly camp coaching staff includes championship coaches and Hall of Famers. A few facts about are camp staff over the years: Hoop Group Camp Coaches: Have won 7 NBA Championships, 6 Olympic Gold Medals, 27 NCAA championships and over 100 High School State Championships & Counting!
The list includes: Bobby Knight, Jim Valvano, Gino Auriemma, Bob Hurley & more!
A large contingent of former Hoop Group Full Time Staff members are currently coaching in the college or prep level. Some have moved onto Administrative positions in college. This group of coaches worked 24/7 for the Hoop Group helping to make it a renowned training ground and proving ground for aspiring and future coaching stars.
