Wednesday, August 6th: DAY FOUR

4:04 pm
As all-star games are now over, we can now not only wrap up Future All-American Camp, but the entire Elite Camp series. It was a fantastic summer, capped off with a fantastic week of young, rising talent. Elite Camps may be done for the summer, but Top 100s will be beginning this fall and skills camp is still going on in the Poconos until the end of August! Still some time to get better before school starts!

Championship games are nearing their end and we’re setting up for the award ceremonies! Follow back here later today for award winners, all-star teams and, of course, the champions of the respective divisions.

Championships are starting to get underway and there’s plenty of talent on every court. The Super Soph division is loaded with talent.

11:32 A lot of great, competitive games happening right now on Championship Wednesday. One player, however, is rising above the rest so far in the early stages of the day.

9:32 am Can’t let today go by without sharing out #BeElite Poll of the Day. Last poll of the summer. Let us know your thoughts!

9:25 pm From a player standpoint, today may be the most exciting day of camp. Playoffs, all-stars and awards will are all on the agenda for today. Players just finished up stations and first games are starting. Which teams are primed and ready for a title run? We will soon find out! Tuesday, August 5th: DAY THREE 9:48 pm That wraps up day three! One more day to go and it is the most exciting day for sure. Championships, all-stars and award nominations all on the slate for tomorrow. You won’t want to miss any of that. For full recaps check out Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Also, be on the look out for today’s to performers tomorrow morning. 9:09 pm Night is almost done, but one more game set to go and boy, do we have great players to end it. Guards David Beatty, Eric Ayala and Dylan Elliot are outdoors while inside we have posts such as Mohamed Bamba, Nazreon Reid, Obinna Ejike and Zach Kent. Every game matters as teams continue to play for seeding. Let’s see how the night ends. 8:26pm If you find yourself guarding 2018 Roselle Catholic guard Abita Taylor as he’s racing his way to the basket…good luck.

7:16pm When Lonnie Walker is on the court, everyone else seems to be going in slow motion. The rising sophomore for Reading High School is just too quick and powerful for anyone to keep up with and he’s been getting easy looks at the basket because of it. 6:26pm In a matchup of plenty of surefire Division I talent, especially for the forward spots, it was a guard that stole the show with his heady playmaking ability and his touch around the rim.

5:28 pm Of the many bigs at camp, Obinna Ejike is one of the more interesting prospects. 6’10 center has little basketball experience under his belt, but it showing how high his potential is.

4:22pm Plenty of athleticism and big names here at Future All American, but none can attack the rim quite like one of the campers can.

3:40pm After the great speech by Greenberg, games are back underway! There’s a Team Final 15U reunion happening on court 3 of the Bollman Center and the highly-touted players are giving it their all.

2:10pm Campers are getting a real treat and soaking up knowledge from former Division I head coach Seth Greenberg! IMG_1516 1:12pm Still plenty of basketball to be played, but one of the matchups is heating up at Albright.

11:57am High level matchup going on with big men Hasahn French and Oshae Brisset going at each other. Brisset, more of a lanky big, has been able to get out in transition to finish big dunks while French has thrived in half court sets. 11:08am First set of games are winding down but the competition certainly isn’t. Rock School (FL) forward Daniel Mading has been all of the place, using his long 6-foot-9 frame to attack the basket with force. Not much the opposition can do when Mading gets the ball on a fast break. 10:03 am Games have begun and we have some top bigs and forwards playing in our first games. Melo Eggleston, Zach Kent and Daniel Mading all in action; Kent and Eggleston playing one another!

9:22 am Here’s today’s #BeElite Poll of the Day. What’s more important in basketball? Offense or Defense?

8:59 am Back up and running and it’s already day three here at Albright. After a fantastic day two, there’s a great deal of elation in the air for games to start, But first, stations to start the day as always. Monday, August 4th: DAY TWO 10:00 pm That wraps up the day for day number two here at Future All-American Camp. Exciting does not explain today. We saw just how bright the future is the way some guys played today. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! For an extensive recap of the day be sure to look on Facebook and Twitter. 9:37 pm Hamidou Diallo is an up and coming name. If not already, he will be a player known by everyone very, very soon.

9:27 pm How about these guys to end the night: Tre Wood, Myles Cale, Hamidou Diallo and Quade Green all on the same court. You can bet there will be some highlights coming up from this one. 8:32 pm

7:21 pm Quade Green has been one of today’s top players with multiple 30 point games. Be on the look out for all of today’s top guys to be released tomorrow morning. 6:26 pm More DC hoops players impressing this week. Gonzaga’s Chris Lykes showing a complete game, he can shoot it too!

5:33pm It’s a block party and you know Mohamed Bamba is invited:

4:30pm  When he gets going, Roselle Catholic’s Louis King is hard to stop. He’s been showing just that all day:

2:14 pm Bob Hurley is in the house for another great lecture. Always great for players of any age to listen and learn from him. He is one of the best. 1:24pm One of the biggest names here at Future All American is Neumann-Goretti (PA) 2017 guard Quade Green. Coming from a school known for point guards (just look at new Miami Hurrican Ja’Quan Newton), Green may just be the best one and he’s showing why with some great moves and a killer midrange jumper. 12:20pm The spotlight was on two big men with Zach Kent and Mohamed Bamba duking it out, but Putnam Science guard Hamidou Diallo has stolen it with a bunch of big dunks that has gotta plenty of reaction from onlookers.

11:38am   First set of games have been intense and there are a number of teams that’ll make a deep run come Championship Wednesday. A name to keep an eye out for? 2018 wing Armoni Sexton from DePaul Catholic (NJ). Silky smooth player that can finish either around or through his defender. When he wants a basket, he’s going to go out and get it. 10:24am Games are officially underway at Albright and Bergen Catholic rising sophomore Taj Benning is looking good. Used his speed to race around a defender for an easy look at a layup. Benning is certainly a name to track throughout the rest of Future All American. 9:30 am Vote for our #BeElite Poll of the Day! FIBA games are coming up, will the U.S. win it all? Let us hear your thoughts!

8:15am Day two is about to get underway and campers are settling in with their new teams. But before we kick off the first full day of Future All American, shoutout to all the kids who got out of bed and showed out for the Early Bird Workouts!

Sunday, August 3rd: DAY ONE 9:41 pm Coach Rice wraps up his lecture and that also wraps up our first day. For a day one recap be sure to check Facebook and Twitter for pictures and player updates. 9:04 pm Today’s games are done with! Coaches are gathering to draft teams and we know it will be an exciting draft! The day is not over yet though, campers get a lecture from coach Mike Rice before the day ends. 8:15pm One of the highly-touted Mitchell twins from the DC area, Mahki, is dominating against his age group. The 2019 forward is already 6-foot-7 is using both quickness and strength to do whatever he wants on the main court at Bollman. 7:36pm Plenty of star power here at Albright but 2018 Roselle Catholic forward Nazreon Reid has stolen the spotlight early on. A number of blocks and highlight dunks have gotten the attention of everyone in the gym.

6:42pm Games are in full swing and a ton of players are putting in 100 percent here at Future All American. 2017 wing Najja Hunter has been extending the defense all day, knocking down a number of three’s and even stepping back to NBA range.

First set of games in and guys are making high light plays. Justyn Mutts (St Augustine Prep ’17) threw one down in transition. Safe to say it won’t be his last.
