NBS DAY 5 HIGHLIGHT…2015 AWARDS

unnamed The final day of NBS Camp 1 ended the way it started, with a loud bang. In what had to be one of the best weeks of camps in recent years. NBS 1 was stacked top to bottom all week. The week ended with many players stepping up their game. The talent in the gym was unprecedented Monday right though Friday. The week ended with magic woman herself making an appearance, Christina Antonakakis of Rumson had coaches buzzing with some show stopping moves. Victoria Galvan proved she is without a question not only a D1 lock but a special player who will make a case as the best post player in the Shore one day…while she is a great softball player, I feel she has a future with the big ball as well…DAY FIVE WAS AWESOME…
DAY 5 HIGHLIGHTS

FINAL DAY THOUGHTS…

Like every year NBS ended with  annual awards…I do not believe we have ever in all my years had a player do more in a week like this years MVP ….The final four candidates for MVP were studs in there own right…

MVP CANDIDATES

Desi Allen was brilliant from the moment the lights went on in the gym. I really cannot believe there is a better junior in the state than Desi Allen of Neptune and she did that dispelled this.  I believe the highlight pretty much says it all…

ALYSSA SCHRIVER showed up at NBS and just blew up this week…the talented point guard from Pa is going to be in high demand. The blazing speed and ability to change speeds is really something that nobody could quite figure out all week.

2015 NOTHING BUT SKILLS MVP…

unnamed

But in the end it was very clear to anyone that has been in the gym this week…only one player could be MVP and this is Lindsey Morris of Rumson -Fair-Haven. Morris was simply off the charts all week. She came  out of nowhere to flat out steal the spotlight from 32 D1 players with big reps and big games. But Lindsey Morris had the biggest game of all. It is clear that Morris is on a mission to greatness. While many wrote her off, that young lady did what all great stories do….finished in grand fashion.

There is no question that Lindsey Morris is a deserving winner of this years NOTHING BUT SKILLS…MOST VALUABLE PLAYER AWARD….CONGRATS TO MISS MORRIS  on a monster week and more importantly giving every kid with a dream …HOPE!

WHILE THEIR WERE MANY GREAT MOMENTS THIS WEEK…

ALYSSA AND ALYSSEN RIVERS WERE SPECIAL AND MUST BE RECOGNIZED….BOTH ARE D1 STUDS…

THE PLAY OF NISANI SANTIAGO CANNOT BE DISMISSED…SHE IS A RARE TALENT.
