Previewing the Pac-12

Washington Huskies

Mike Hopkins finally got the head coaching job he desired. The bad news is he won’t have Markelle Fultz, and he won’t have Michael Porter Jr. Things could be worse though, as Noah Dickerson, once thought to be leaving after Lorenzo Romar was fired, is staying around. The Huskies will return most of their production from last season, outside Fultz, and have two great recruits coming in with Jaylen Nowell and Hameir Wright, but this is still a roster that still failed to compete in many games last season with and without Fultz. With Hopkins on the sidelines, a year of maturation, and two Top 100 recruits, I’m being optimistic (for now) that Washington finishes higher than they did last season.
