Previewing the Pac-12

Oregon Ducks

Similar to UCLA, the Ducks are another team that lose a lot of firepower from last year’s Final Four team. Jordan Bell, Tyler Dorsey, Dillon Brooks and Dylan Ennis have all moved on, as has Chris Boucher and Casey Benson. This leaves major holes for Dana Altman to fill. First major change will be the increased role of Payton Pritchard. The sophomore often took a back seat to many of the names above, ¬†averaging 7 points and 3 assists per game, but showed he is more than capable to contribute. He is a former Top 100 recruit and should have no worry taking on a larger role for the Ducks.

In addition to Pritchard, Ducks fans will love freshman Troy Brown. A McDonald’s All-American and the #18 ranked recruit according to ESPN, Brown is a long and athletic playmaker. Brown has the ability to facilitate and score himself, making him fun to play with. Classmate Victor Bailey will give Altman another strong group of guards/wings to help compete in the PAC 12.
