HG One on One: Cam Reddish

Cameron Reddish has the potential to be a special basketball player. The Philadelphia native is only a rising freshman, but he is already turning anyone who watches him play into a believer of how high his ceiling is. Reddish made some noise last season, getting varsity minutes for the Haverford School as an eighth grader. As a freshman his role is expected to increase this upcoming year, but it won’t come easy.

At 6’4, Reddish has great length for the guard position. His jump shot is good and is continuing to get better and better every time he plays. He’s also shown a strong ball handling ability.

Reddish has a passion for the game that motivates him to put in work every single day. While he may have the size, length and motor to be a Division 1 player, Reddish knows he must increase his strength if he wants to succeed at the high school level, let alone the high major level.

We spoke to Reddish last week at Hoop Group Future All-American Camp. He spoke to us about his summer, AAU teammates Lonnie Walker and Justyn Mutts and what it was like playing varsity minutes as an eighth grader. See the interview here:
