Jarrod Simmons: Elite Talent on the Rise

Reading, PA– Jarrod Simmons said Shaka Smart is a name who comes up on his caller ID often right now. That’s because the 2017 forward from Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA is a very highly touted recruit not just in the New England area, but the entire country.

ESPN has Jarrod ranked as the fourth best player in the state and the 33rd best at his position (PF). The upside on Simmons is incredible. At 6’7, he plays with a great motor and is fundamentally sound down low.  He’ll prove to be a big piece to Cushing Academy’s success next year, along side talented teammates Kimani Lawrence, Wabissa Bede  and Greg Kuakamensah.
