In 1963 the Hoop Group started running overnight basketball camps in the Pocono Mountains. 50 summers later Hoop Group still runs overnight basketball camps in the Pocono Mountains but has evolved into so much more. Some of you may know what Skills and Elite camps are but we realize every summer brings new parents and players wanting to be a part of the historic Hoop Group tradition.
Which overnight camp is best for you?
The most commonly asked question by parents who are looking into Hoop Group camps for the first time. Hoop Group runs camps for boys and girls starting at the age of 9 and runs all the way until their senior year of high school.
Skills camp is held in the Pocono Mountains and runs for both boys and girls ages 9 to high school seniors. Skills offers a variety of camps from traditional skills to specialized shooting and position camps. Elite camp is held at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania for boys only. Hoop Group Elite is widely regarded as the best exposure basketball camp in the country. Over 950 college coaches attended Hoop Group Elite camps in 2011 seeking players for their program. Elite camps are for students in grades 9-12.
