What’s up everybody! Since my last entry we’ve played two games. We played Floral Park which was a very tough team. They were very athletic in transition and well coached. At the end of the first quarter they were only up 2 points, but by the end of the first half they were starting to heat up from the perimeter and we struggled on the boards as well. In the second half we picked it up a little bit but it was too late as we lost by 18 points.
Our second game, we played Glen Cove. They were also very athletic and tough on the defensive end. At the end of the first half it was tied up as we picked up the pace moving the ball well and knocking down outside jumpers. By the second half they had an edge on us on the offensive boards and that lead to us losing by 5 points. It seemed like they wanted it more than us and it showed for the resluts. It was a tough loss for us. This makes us 2-3 for the season. We’ve been having hard practices during the break and we are prepared mentally and physically for our holiday classic tournament in Long Island tomorrow and Thursday.
