Brooklyn, NY– The 2016 NBA Draft took place again at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. As with most years in the NBA Draft, this year’s drafted featured several Hoop Group alumni, including two lottery picks. Here is the full breakdown of where each #HGAlum landed after draft night.

Round 1:

Thon Maker: Drafted 10th overall to the Milwaukee Bucks

Georgios Papagiannis: Drafted 13th overall to the Phoenix Suns – traded to the Sacramento Kings

Wade Baldwin: Drafted 17th overall to the Memphis Grizzlies

Caris LeVert: Drafted 20th overall to the Indiana Pacers – traded to the Brooklyn Nets

DeAndre’ Bembry: Drafted 21st overall to the Atlanta Hawks

Malachi Richardson: Drafted 22nd overall to the Charlotte Hornets – traded to the Sacramento Kings

 

Round 2: 

Cheick Diallo: Drafted 33rd overall to the Los Angeles Clippers – traded to the New Orleans Pelicans

Diamond Stone: Drafted 40th overall to the New Orleans Pelicans – traded to the Los Angeles Clippers

Isaiah Whitehead: Drafted 42nd overall to the Utah Jazz – traded to the Brooklyn Nets

Georges Niang: Drafted 50th overall to the Indiana Pacers

Ben Bentil: Drafted 51st overall to the Boston Celtics

Isaiah Cousins: Drafted 59th overall to the Sacramento Kings
