On July 18 and 19, Hoop Group will be hosting some of the top talent in the country for the West Virginia Jam Fest, set to be held in Morgantown, W.V., for ages 15U through 17U.
Teams from the Northeastern, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeastern United States will be competing to be crowned champion in this NCAA-certified event during July’s live recruiting period for Division-I coaches.
“We are looking forward to a great two days of competition and exposure at the West Virginia Jam Fest,” said tournament director Kyle Griffin. “Our annual event draws some of the best talent in the region and is a fixture of the live recruiting period. We hope to continue that tradition this year in Morgantown.”
Last year, the event drew coaches from some of the nation’s top programs, including schools from the Big East, ACC, Big Ten, CAA, Atlantic 10, and more.
In addition to Division-I coaches being in attendance, national exposure from over 15 different media outlets will be present to cover all of the action with interviews, evaluations, and updates.
For this year’s tournament, 72 teams will compete, spread out over three age groups. To check out a video recap of last year’s tournament, click here.
