Southern Jam Fest 2016 Live Blog

Hampton, VA — Once again we have saved the best for last, the Southern Jam Fest has become one of the best AAU tournaments in the country. Bringing together the best programs, it is a great way to end our Spring Jam Fest session. As you can see from the highlights of last year’s tournament above, only the best come down to Boo Williams. This year’s Southern Jam Fest is no different, as the fields are LOADED from top to bottom. Only the strong will survive, let’s get to it!

Day 1 Top Performers


Some updated 17U scores in the championship bracket: We R 1 takes a 50-29 win from District Basketball while Team Takeover Orange tops Virginia Elite, 59-50. Both victors advance on to Sweet Sixteen.


It was a close one to the finish, but Team Winston held out for a 75-73 victory over Bump N Run in the 17U bracket. Team Winston is on to the Sweet 16.
