8:30AM- Championship Day has begun here at the Hoop Group Spring Jam Fest! 4 Winners will be crowned, but over 20 teams still have a claim to that throne! We are sure to have a very exciting day again here today, which technically already has a game going final, with CM3’s big win at 12:03 this morning to get into the 16U Quarterfinals! –@JakerBaker58

9:33AM – Team Melo claims first place in 14u Pool D with a 61-25 win over Central PA Elite (Hesler) at Spring Jr. Jam Fest. —@pfebbraro

9:45AM– The game of the morning here at Spring Jr. Jam Fest featured an intense matchup between Connecticut Elite and Team United. Both team showed full-court press throughout, but Elite made just enough stops while converting converting a flurry of points off of turnovers to pull away in the final minute for a 50-43 win. Dequan Carr had an impressive scoring output to lead Elite with 19 points which included three makes from beyond the arc. Cole Hare and Ethial Horton scored 11 points apiece to lead United.–@CabWashington

10:09AM- Early-morning play at Spring Jr. Jam Fest is wrapping up at West Chester University. In the 14u Division ShoreShots (Fraunheim) defeated Above & Beyond (NY) 45-40 behind a 12-point effort from Jethro Moll. Also in 14u play, Team Final (PA) and Jersey Force advanced to the playoffs with wins. —@pfebbraro

10:44AM-Team Final (Black)’s defensive pressure and depth was just too much for the New Jersey Gymrats to handle on their way to a 65-36 victory in 14U play. Keon Butler led the show for Final as he finished with 19 points. Getting off to a slow start, Zy Garrett added to the fray in the ladder stages as he finished with 10 second half points.-@CabWashington

11:07AM- A couple of local teams in the 16U Elite 8 found themselves in some close games. WE R1 was able to take a 38-36 victory toward the Final Four over the Jersey Shore Warriors after a three-point shot attempt was off at the buzzer. Meanwhile, Philly Pride battled back against D.C. Thunder from an early 16-point deficit but couldn’t complete the comeback. Anthony Cowan, a 2016 guard with high-major offers and interest, led the way for the Thunder with 12 points. –@AndrewKoob

11:50AM- Team Philly put on an impressive showing against Connecticut Elite as they cruised to a 52 -27 win in 13U play. Mikel Jones and Jamaeris Johnson carried their team in the first half combining for 19 points, with each finishing with 14 for the game. Despite the tough loss, Charles Clemons IV tried to carry the load for Connecticut as he finished with an impressive 11 points. Team Philly’s defense made it difficult for the young guard to score, but Clemons was still able to manage a very solid outing. –@CabWashington

12:16PM – Khyre Temple’s 24-point effort helped Team Final hold off Team ESPM (PA) 59-57 and finish pool play in the 13u Division 3-0. Team Final will face JB Hoops in the semi-finals at 2:20 p.m. —@pfebbraro

12:25PM- With the 16U Final 4 set, we have two great matchups with the Illinois Celtics facing VA Elite and WeR1 battling the DC Thunder! All 4 teams have looked great this weekend, but who will come out on top? –@TheHoopGroup

12:57PM- The 17U Final Four is complete! The Jersey Shore Warriors will face Philly Pride and the Baltimore Elite will face their interstate rivals, Maryland 3D! This should make for a very tight Championship! Not to mention this from the 15U bracket…


1:05PM– Phenomenal game just concluded in 14U play. Team Final (Black) marched all the way back from a 12 point second half defecit to win in overtime 58-56 against Jersey Force. Team Final found themselves trailing 44-32 with 4:21 remaining. But with a bevy of forced turnovers combined with an offensive surge from beyond the arc, the group was able to put together a 17-5 run to force the game into overtime. In the OT session, Team Final had all the momentum and continued to do what got them into that predicament. In the end they were able to scratch and claw their way into picking up the two-point win. Zy Garrett had a huge game for Final as he finished with 16 points while Nick Hubenstein had one of the more impressive shooting performances in this weekend’s tournament on his way to 25 points for Jersey Force. –@CabWashington

1:45PM– In 10U play, Team Final and Integrity Sports faced off in a tight one with the game being decided by a lone free throw made by Mikel Huffman. 37-36, was the final score as Huffman made the second end of a pair at the charity stripe with one second remaining in the game. He finished with nine points while teammate Randy Guzman posted a game-high 21 points to help their team come back from a late three-point deficit.-@CabWashington

2:41PM- Championships have officially kicked off, with the Open championship between the PA Wildcats and The City underway on Court 2 at Spooky Nook. The 16U and 15U finals are set, with WE R1 going against VA Elite and Sports U going toe-to-toe with the York Ballers. It’s about to get very interesting here in Manheim, where we’ll see who steps up in the spotlight. –@AndrewKoob

3:45PM- Congratulations to the PA Wildcats, Spring Jam Fest Open Division Champs!

4:15PM- Congratulations to WeR1, Spring Jam Fest 16U Champs!

4:45PM-Congratulations to Chester Select as led from start to finish as to top Integrity Sports in the 11U Championship game 44-35 . Select commanded the game with their strong defensive pressure outstanding execution on the offensive end. The 11U team out of Chester, Pa. was led by pint-size guard C. Lawrence who finished with five points but did an even greater job of facilitating for his teammates.

4:55PM-Nitro toughed out a lop-sided 46-27 victory over Philly Triple Threat for the 10U Championship. –@CabWashington

5:25PM- Congratulations to Sports U on winning the 15U Division on the Hoop Group Spring Jam Fest!

5:40PM- Congrats to Baltimore Elite on winning the 17U division on the Hoop Group Spring Jam Fest!

5:45PM- Congratulations to Hilltopper Heat for winning the 12U Championship game over JBHoops! And. . . Congratulations to Team Melo for taking home the 14U Championship over Hoop Heaven Elite. #BeElite #HGJr.JamFest

5:56PM- In the final game of the day Team Final pulled off a close 46-42 victory over Team Philly for the 13U Championship. Congratulations Team Final!
