Formally known as the Philadelphia Hoop Group Jam Fest, the Spring Jam Fest has become one of the premier grassroots events of the spring. College coaches and some of the nation’s top AAU programs will come to Manheim, PA (outside of Philadelphia) to compete in this prestigious event. This year’s Spring Jam Fest will be held during the DIVISION 1 LIVE PERIOD, on April 10-12, 2015.
The event’s headquarters will be Spooky Nook (Manheim, PA), which is America’s #1 basketball facility with 20 courts. The event consists of teams in the age divisions 15u, 16u, 17u and Open (18u). TRAVEL TIME: NCAA VIDEO CHECK-IN & CERTIFICATION PROCESS
-Please make sure you give yourself and your program plenty of travel time to get to your venue where you’re scheduled to play.
-Please arrive at your site of play 1 Hour prior to the start of your game. This will allow proper registration, as well as allow your team to watch the mandatory video prior to participating in the Live Recruiting period this Spring.
-If a player does not watch the video, he will not be permitted to participate in the tournament.
-You will be able to Check-In at: Spooky Nook Sports (Friday & Saturday), Lancaster Bible College (Friday ONLY), and Hempfield High School (Friday ONLY). You cannot play your game without being given a wristband that distinguishes an NCAA Certified Coach from a Spectator/Student.
-The Jam Fest Forfeit rule is reiterated below, and will be strictly enforced.
NCAA Regulations do not allow us to begin games after 10:00PM.
If you’re late, your team will FORFEIT that game. NO EXCEPTIONS!
*** For every day of the event, 5 minutes will be allotted from the scheduled start of the game.
Every minute thereafter this grace period, a point will be awarded to the team present at the game for up to 5 minutes
(Ex. If you arrive 8 minutes late, 3 points will be awarded to the other team at the start of the game). At 10 minutes, a forfeit is called.
ONLY A SITE DIRECTOR OR TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR CAN CALL A FORFEIT!
PLAYER ADMISSION TO ANY SITE:
The only way a player or team can get into a site without paying the Admission Prices is to have their Team Jersey ON their person.
If a player does not have their Jersey on, they will not be allowed to enter ANY site without paying the admission price for that day. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
COACH ADMISSION TO ANY SITE:
The only way for a Coach to enter any site in the Spring Jam Fest is to have the proper color wristband ON HIS/HER WRIST.
If you’re a coach without the correct wristband color, you will not be allowed entry into a site without paying the admission price for that day.
HOME/AWAY TEAM CLARIFICATION:
The Home Team is ALWAYS the team at the top of the bracket.
The Away Team is ALWAYS the team at the bottom of the bracket.

As of January 1, 2015, your NCAA Approval Number was reset. All coaches must be certified by the NCAA to be on the team bench. Certification takes approx 7-10 days and can be acquired here. All coaches must submit rosters to the NCAA website in order to participate. Both of these are required to participate. Failure to complete will prohibit teams from competing.

FAILURE TO UPLOAD YOUR ROSTER & OPT INTO THE ‘SPRING JAM FEST’ WILL PROHIBIT YOU FROM PARTICIPATING THIS WEEKEND.
As stated on the Hoop Group Spring Jam Fest website:
“Please know that a MAXIMUM of 3 non-players will per permitted on a bench. All non-players must be certified by the NCAA to be on the team bench. Certification can be acquired here. All coaches must submit rosters to the NCAA website in order to participate. Both of these are required to participate. Failure to complete will prohibit teams from competing in this event.”
MANAGERS/BOOK KEEPERS MUST ALSO BE NCAA CERTIFIED IN ORDER TO SIT ON THE TEAM BENCH!
Additionally, our College Coach Packets are produced directly from the information provided by you, the coach, on the BBCS. When possible, provide each player’s jersey number, high school graduation year, and attending high school in order to get your players maximum college exposure.
Note: Player’s full address and telephone number are MANDATED BY THE NCAA to be entered into the BBCS.
