Hoop Group Summer High School Showcase is annually the premier New Jersey high school basketball event of June. Formerly known as the HBC, the Summer Hoop Group High School Showcase has traditionally included some of the top teams in the east.
2013 DATES ANNOUNCED
The 2013 Hoop Group High School Summer Showcase is set for June 15-16, 2013 at Hoop Group Headquarters’ four beautiful NBA-replica wooden court facility in Neptune, New Jersey with 3 games guaranteed.
The Hoop Group Summer High School Showcases have included some of New Jersey’s top basketball members of teams at St. Benedict’s, St. Patrick’s, Hudson Catholic, Gill St. Bernard’s, St. Joseph’s Metuchen and Teaneck as well as members from out-of-area powers like South Shore (Brooklyn, NY), Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia), Milton Academy (Massachusetts) & Westtown (PA).
The 2012 Hoop Group High School Summer Showcase included 16 teams from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland on Saturday June 16th at Hoop Group Headquarters.
Congratulations to 2012 Hoop Group Summer Showcase champions Sankofa Academy from Philadelphia.
Sankofa edged Union Catholic NJ 69-67 for the title in a thrilling contest that saw them respond from an early 20 point deficit. Sankofa went 4-0 in the tournament beating three NJ opponents as well as Milford Mill Academy from Maryland.
