9:12PM- Last game set of the night has tipped at Westtown High School. —@pfebbraro

7:59PM- New Heights NYC 15U’s defeated the York Ballers 59-45 in early evening action at Westtown High School. Baron Goodridge (6-0/Cardinal Hayes/2016) and Nakye Sanders (6-5/Tottenville HS/2015) each scored 11 points in the victory.
New Heights’ 16U team feel to the PA Renegades 70-63. —@pfebbraro

7:52PM- Sports U Izod, who won the 17U Platinum bracket at the Pitt Jam Fest last week, is on pace to capture the Philly Jam Fest crown as well. Sports U earned a trip to the quarterfinals with a 64-49 win over Move Ur Feet. 2014 guard Wade Baldwin led the way with 18 points, while 2014 forward Kenny Grant contributed nine points. —@AndrewKoob

7:26pm- As Move Your Feet and SportsU IZOD play on Court 3 here at Competitive Edge Sports, brackets for the 15u and 16u divisions have been updated. Be sure to check back for the 17u and Open divisions. – @AshleyBiddle23

6:01PM- An upset-minded Crusader Nation (Md.) team had D.C. Assault on the ropes in 17U play, but ended up having their upset bid fall short. Assault held on for a 62-55 win, led by Maryland commit Melo Trimble (6-2/Bishop O’Connell/2014) and 6-foot-8 wing Donte Grantham (Martinsburg/2014). For Crusader Nation, wing Trevor Wesco (6-5/Musselman/2014) and guard Marcquise Reed (6-3/St. Vincent Pallotti/2014) were continually making key plays to keep their team in the game. –@Edgar_Walker

5:43PM- Austin Hall (5-11/Annandale HS/2015) sank two free throws late in the second overtime as Virginia Elite squeaked by Team Loaded 757 (Va.) 70-68 in 16U bracket action at Westtown High School.
Hall finished with 12 points.
Team Loaded held off defeat at the buzzer twice in the game but had no such luck when an in-bound pass with 1.0 left in the second overtime was knocked away by Elite.
Darren Belardo (5-10/Bishop Sullivan/2015), who finished with six points, was the first hero when he banged home a 3-pointer at the end of regulation to draw Team Loaded even at 54.
Romelo Anderson (6-3/Heritage/2015) performed the same magic as his teammate when his 3-point shot with 1.8 seconds remaining in the first overtime swished through the net to knot the score at 63. Anderson finished with 22 points.
Meanwhile the Team Loaded Gore 16U’s also won a close one. Riding DeShawn Corprew’s (6-6/Frank Cox HS/2016) 18 points, Gore defeated Philly Triple Threat 60-57. —@pfebbraro

1:53PM- Derrick Jones, Jr. (6-7/Arch Bishop Carroll/2015), who’s stock continued to rise after last week’s Pitt Jam Fest, scored a game-high 24 points to lead We R 1 (De.) to a 70-38 victory over JB Hoops in the 16 U bracket at Westtown High School.
Also advancing in the 16U bracket were the Fairfax Stars (Va.) who squeaked by Mid Atlantic Select (Md.) 52-50. Fairfax was led by Wanya Allen (6-4/Potomac Fall HS/ 2015) who scored 10 points. —@pfebbraro

12:47PM- No surprise that the game between Team Loaded NC and the Brooklyn Badgers went down to the last second. Loaded NC escaped with a 52-50 win, led by 2014 guard Jonathan Williams and 2014 forward Cody Martin. —@AndrewKoob

12:02PM- The 17u champions bracket is off to an exciting start, with Team Loaded NC leading the Brooklyn Badgers 32-27. Both teams have been going back-and-forth and it looks like it’s going to take the whole 32 minutes (maybe even more) to decide this one. —@AndrewKoob

11:42AM- Tony Carr’s (5-11/Abington Friends/2016) 3-pointer at the end of regulation forced overtime, and his 3-pointer in the second overtime put Philly Triple Threat ahead for good in a 82-76 win the 16U bracket at Westtown High School.
Carr, finished with a game-high 23 points.
Also in 16U action, Team Loaded Gore topped F.O.E. 84-67 behind 29 points from DeShawn Corprew (6-6/Frank Cox HS/2016)@pfebbraro

11:30AM- We’ve had some really competitive games here at Competitive Edge in the Losers’ Bracket this morning. Teams still coming out and playing hard as they try to play as many games in front of college coaches as possible. Some solid 2nd Round Losers’ Bracket matchups show the depth of this tournament field, as well. –@Edgar_Walker

10:48AM- Positive Direction (NY) won a thrilling 51-48 overtime game in the 16U bracket at Westtown High School over Friar Nation (NJ).
A highlight of the game was the battle between Positive Energy’s Aaron Clark (6-5/High School of Law enforcement and Public Safety/2015) and Friar Nation’s Quamain Nelson (6-5/St.Anthony’s/2016) in the paint.
While still young and unpolished both rebounded well and converted key baskets. Nelson finished with 11 points while Clark netted nine, including a thunderous two-handed dunk which helped key Positive Energy’s game-tying run in the closing minutes of regulation. —@pfebbraro

9:15AM- Team Loaded NC is a possible favorite for the 17U title here with a stacked roster. Point guard Jonathan Williams (2014/St. Benedict’s), a 2014 VCU commit, isn’t the biggest name on the roster but is certainly one of the team’s most important pieces.
