3:30 PM
Teams 28 and 30 showing a lot of energy and team spirit, standing up and making noise after each basket in support of their teammates. That’s the kind of attitude we like to see here at camp, and what college coaches want to see, a team-first mentality!

2:55 PM

We’re a tad behind schedule, but the morning set is officially over! What a great morning, with multiple players picking up Division I offers. The afternoon set of games picks up soon, stay tuned for more analysis and video content!

12:50 PM
With the morning set wrapping up, tons of players have each had the chance to show off to the scouts on the basketball court. Check out our top performers of the morning, as well as a recent highlight clip from Cormac Ryan (Milton Academy ’17)!

11:51 AM
Players have begun picking up offers already! Josip Vrankic (Father John Redmond ’17) picked up a DePaul offer last night to add to his double-digit list of schools, and rising sophomore Kareem Reid (Josip Bowne ’19) just added his second MAAC offer (the first came from Iona), from St. Peter’s this morning. The exposure is real!

11:38 AM
Some new faces are beginning to stand out this morning, such as Matt Johnson (South Kent ’17), who has displayed smooth handles and active defense on multiple talented ball handlers. Amanze Njoku (Chesapeake ’17) has also been one to watch, using his bulky frame well, particularly on the glass and around the rim.

10:55 AM
Another notable player here at camp, Cormac Ryan (Milton Academy ’17) who holds several mid-major offers as well as high-major interest, takes the stage in front of the same scouts on Bollman 1. Ryan always goes hard to the rim and it pays off!

10:41 AM
Many Division I scouts are at Bollman 1, watching Wilson and Atiba Taylor (Hackensack ’18) show off their stuff for team 21 in a very tight game. George Mason–one of the top schools on Wilson’s list–as well as the likes of Quinnipiac and Yale–are taking in the exciting finish.

9:48 AM
Today’s games have officially begun! A.J. Wilson (Elev8 Sports ’17), one of the top players at Elite 1, is playing through a hurt ankle; our campers just don’t quit!

Wilson continues to play explosively and show off his freakish athleticism.

8:25 AM
Rise and shine!! It’s time for another full day of hoops in front of dozens of college scouts. Who will show off their abilities today and get noticed?

Before starting the next sets of games, the players just received a nice lecture from Tobin Anderson, head coach at St. Thomas Aquinas. Anderson pulled from his coaching experience from all three levels of college ball–as well as some very impressive drill demonstrations–to give our campers valuable information.

12:30 PM
Check out some highlights from local product Jordan Camper (Chester ’17)! Camper, an athletic, 6-foot-8 big man, had a strong morning session:

12:09 PM

Tons of college coaches are already here, from several Division II and Division III schools! In just over five hours, the Division I coaches will be on their way.

10:55 AM
Finishing up the first set, Marques Watson (Thomas Jefferson ’18) showed off a variety of skills, impressing with his length, playmaking ability, and craftiness off the dribble. The 6-foot-4 guard does a great job of getting into the lane and creating for his teammates.

10:00 AM
Games are finally underway! Be on the lookout for some of the top standouts and highlights from the whole day of action as we progress through day two.

As for the games in the Rec. Center, we’re certainly off to a great start!

8:46 AM
It’s finally here, the opening day of the first July live period! We’ve got about nine hours until the live period officially opens, as players will be putting on their last preparations in our first full games of the week before D-I coaches arrive.

Who will stand out on the first day of competitive action?

Tuesday, July 5th

9:30 PM
Coach Farello just wrapped up a phenomenal speech to finish up a great day of basketball. Tomorrow, competitive games start, and we’re looking forward to the mountains of talent that will continue to surface as we get further into camp!

8:40 PM
A.J. Wilson (Elev8 Sports Institute ’17) has been absolutely insane today, and just finished off the day’s action with a beautiful 360 jam, one of is dozen-or-more dunks on the day. Wilson, who has 17 division I offers, has certainly been today’s biggest standout!

Now, as the campers file in and prepare for a lecture to end the day, here are today’s top performers:

7:27 PM
Christian Wilson (Pomfret School ’18), who holds five division I offers, was here briefly last week for part of academic elite 1 and has picked up right where he left off! Check out his highlights:

6:33 PM
With only two sets of scrimmages left, several players are standing out to the viewing audience as players to watch. Be on the lookout for our day one standouts as the night comes to a close!

5:50 PM
Some great teamwork has already been showing up on day one! Ryan Salzburg just connected with local prospect Dion Harris (Lower Merion ’18) for an impressive fast break alley-oop in traffic. This is team basketball at its best, even in the early scrimmages!

5:30 PM
Elijah Clarence (St. Maria Goretti ’17)
just went off in the rec. center! After back-to-back-to-back dunks and a pull up three, Clarence is proving himself to be one of this week’s top players, and is displaying why Towson already jumped on his bandwagon with an offer last summer.

5:00 PM
Some more players are showing off their array of skills here during scrimmages! Joel Boyce (St. Luke’s ’17), who has been offered by NJIT, is fighting hard around the rim and proving that he can finish in contact.

Tyrese Martin (William Allen ’17) is another player with five mid-major offers that has been off the charts on offense, beating defenders off the dribble and knowing down a variety of challenging shots.

4:01 PM
Some young guns are already showing off their talents here in Bollman during scrimmages! Ahmadu Sarnor (Collegium Charter ’19), who holds a VCU offer, has been showing off impressive handles and a very consistent jump shot.
