Day 1 Biggest Impacts for Summer Classic East in KOP

Yesterday was an exciting day here in King of Prussia. We had 16 games decided by 5 points or less, 16! With games that tight, guys were called on to step up. Here are some guys who showcased their talent:

Aaron Falzon (NorthField Mount Hermon ’15): He could be the best player on the best team at SCE. Falzon is listed at 6’8 and has a great shot from deep. He was burying them from three all day yesterday and caused problems for the defense.

Rickey McGill (Spring Valley HS ’15): McGill is a quick point guard. He’s the type of guard that makes you sprint back on defense because make or miss, he’s getting it and pushing it down the floor. If he beats you back he’s going hard to the rim and finishing or drawing a foul, where he can shoot well from the stripe.

Jackson Donahue (Northfield Mount Hermon ’15): Donahue is a very good shooter from outside, but also a great ballhandler. He not only handles tight pressure defense well, but shakes it with what looks like relative ease. Donahue, along with teammate Jordan Spellman, were a big reason Middlesex Magic went 2-0 yesterday.

Vincent Eze (Notre Dame Green Pond ’15): Eze is athletic as heck. He possess tremendous leaping ability which he uses to his advantage on the offensive glass. He is also very strong inside and doesn’t let light contact bother him.

Mustapha Traore (The Phelps School ’15): Traore is a big reason why Team FOE is advancing to the Elite Eight. In a close, low-scoring game last night against JB Hoops he scored a team high 14 of his teams 42. Without his scoring ability Team FOE may not be in the hunt for a championship today.

Zane Martin (Neumann Goretti ’16): Martin showcased the ability to drive to and finish at the basket with consistency yesterday. He also showed that he can do more than just penetrate by knocking down some jump shots and shooting it well from the line. He appeared to have the complete offensive game last night.
