LIVE Blog: Academic Elite Session 1 Day Four

8:00AM- Final day at the first Academic Elite Session and everyone is ready to go. All-Star games will start at 3:00PM, but campers will have one last chance to play with their respective team this morning in the playoffs.-@AndrewKoob

9:23AM– Guys going hard in stations on the last day of camp. Might as well lay it all out there on the court to finish up the week strong! Playoff  games are set to tip at 9:45AM. 9:55AM- As the quarterfinal games begin, Harrison Brown (Huntington (W.V.) High School/ 6-4/ 2014) is playing big in the middle and just knocked down a jumper from the top of the key. –@pfebbraro

10:38AM- 2014 forward Nicolas Iparraguirre had a nice dunk in transition, using two hands to make sure it went home. Beyond the dunk, Iparraguirre has been hustling hard and getting up the court for easy fast break points. –@AndrewKoob

11:07AM- 2014 guard Jared Kelly uses a nice euro-step to get through two defenders and finishes with a beautiful layup as the first quarter game clock expires. –@AndrewKoob

12:35PM- Semifinals are now underway and there’s a lot of intensity on the two courts here at the Bollman Center. Every camper wants a chance to play in the Academic Elite Camp championship. –@AndrewKoob

1:33PM- Championship games have tipped at Bollman Center. Awards ceremony and all-star games to follow. -@pfebbraro

1:38PM- Ben Huzzard (Owen J. Roberts (Pa.) High School/5-10/2015) leads Team 12 to a 12-7 after one in the Patriot League Championship. -@pfebbraro

1:40PM- Jared Kelly and Zach Yonda are going back and forth in the Ivy League Championship; Kelly has nine, while Yonda has eight. –@AndrewKoob

1:52PM- Ben Lee (Great Neck South (N.Y.)/5-9/2016) hit a running jumper at the end of the first half to give Team 12 a two-point lead at the break. Matt Burns (Christian Brothers Academy/ 6-0/2015) had a solid quarter for Team 15. –@pfebbraro

1:55PM- An 18-6 run in the second quarter, anchored by Donte Wallette‘s seven points, has Team 6 up 39-22 at the halfway point of the Ivy League Championship. –@AndrewKoob

2:04PM- The back-and-forth Patriot League Final is now 39-37 Team 15 after James Vandeventer (Conestoga (Pa.) High School/ 5-11/2015) hit a 3-poimnter at the end of the third quarter. –@pfebbraro

4:30PM- Team 15 downed Team 12 54-46 to win the Patriot League championship game while Team 6 bested Team 2 by a final score of 59-49 capturing the Ivy League championship. Click here for championship game recaps. Following those contests were the Ivy and Patriot League All-Star games. Ryan Sens finished with 12 pts and nine rebounds to help the White All-Stars  take down the Blue All-Stars in the Ivy League. Michael Rice finished with 14 points to lead his White All-Stars past the Blue All-Stars in the Patriot League. Notes on the All-Star games coming up! . –@CabWashington
