LIVE Blog: Elite Session 1 Day Two

8:30AM- Players are checking in at the Bollman Center for attendance and we’re starting to get ready for Day two of Elite Camp Session 1. Keep checking back here for updates on all the action during a full day of basketball. –@AndrewKoob

10:05AM- Stations are just about wrapping up and games are about to start. A lot of energy early on, plenty of campers looking to leave their mark on the court at the Bollman Center. –@AndrewKoob

10:55AM– Nice matchup between two talented big men going on at Court B1. Abdul Lewis is having the better one-on-one performance, but Dylan Okoro and his supporting cast have been holding on to a solid lead throughout. Looking forward to see the score when the final buzzer sounds. –@CabWashington

12:43PM- Jibreel Ahmad hits one of two free throws to capture a 69-67 overtime win for his team. Missed the first, but composed himself to sink the second one to secure the win. –@AndrewKoob

1:16PM– Shoutout to the guys still here shooting in the gym during lunch.  Marcus Gatson, Logan Vosburg, and a handful of other campers are in here going hard getting shots up. These kids really trying to do what it takes to #BeElite. –@CabWashington

2:02PM- The third game set of the day will start at 2:30 p.m. Tyree Gibson (Reading (Pa.) High School/ 6-2/ 2015) has played solid at the two guard spot in the early action and hopes to keep it up for the afternoon games. –@pfebbraro

2:49PM- Abdul Lewis (Newark East Side HS, N.J./ 6-8/2014) and Tarik Diggs (National Christian, Md./ 6-3/ 2014) lead their team to a 12-2 first quarter lead as the afternoon games have begun. –@pfebbraro

3:28PM- Curtis Jenkins continues to display tons of hustle and it showed on a breakaway steal that led to the slam on the other end. –@AndrewKoob

4:31PM- Marquis Johns,with his team trailing by four points, nails a three-pointer with under 30 seconds left in the game, but Chandler Benson, Justin Iton, who each had a block on Johns in the final six seconds, and the opposing team walked away with a 53-52 win. –@AndrewKoob

6:24PM- The evening session of games and workouts will begin at 6:40 p.m. Some players who have stood out so far on Day Two – Karo Adjekughele (Fordham (N.Y.) Prep School/ 6-6/ 2014), Isaiah Taylor (Match (Mass.) School/ 5-10/ 2014), Troy Bendian (River Dell (N.J.) High School/ 6-7/ 2014) and Preston Powell (Sachem East (N.Y.) High School/ 5-11/ 2014). –@pfebbraro

7:40PM- Tarik Diggs hits two free-throws to ice his team’s final game of the night to cap a 62-58 win. The win was made possible by an acrobatic converted and-one by Abdul Lewis, whose name has been mentioned throughout the camp. –@AndrewKoob

8:41PM- Karo Adjekughele hit a running layup with four seconds left in the game to secure a 51-50 win for his team. Tightly contested shot, but great shot to clinch the victory. –@AndrewKoob

9:50PM- The final game’s have ended at Albright College. Be sure to follow the Twitter feed and link to the day’s outstanding performers and all other news coming out of Reading, Pa. –@pfebbraro
