LIVE Blog: Elite Session 3 Day Four

DSC09789

9:00AM- Today’s the last day of Elite Camp session 3 and there’s plenty of action to get to. We have championship games, all-star games and award winners on tap, but there’s still plenty of basketball left to play today. Keep following here for all of the championship day updates. –@AndrewKoob

10:10AM- The road to the Championship has begun! Who will step their game up on Championship Day and #BeElite? –@JakerBaker58

10:40AM- Jorge L. Concepcion III is shows off a killer instinct with the ball in his hand. Looks to go coast-to-coast and, more times than not, finishes at the basket with a smooth layup. He’s a big reason his team has a double-digit lead at the moment. –@AndrewKoob

11:45AM- Rodley Adjei (New Rochelle N.Y.) showing off his quickness here, just went coast to coast and finished at the rim with a nice  layup. Adjei has shown nice quickness over the course of the session. A lot of the college coaches that have been spectating had to have really liked what they’ve seen from the guard.- @CabWashington

12:05PM– Team 1 and 6 are playing neck and neck for the NBA East Championship game. Marquis Powell (Upper Marlboro, Md. 2014)  is doing a nice job leading Team 1, while Chris McNeal (Episcopal Academy, Pa. 2014) is pacing Team 6. 6 is up 30-27 at the half.

1:10PM– At the half, we have a bit of a blow-out on our hands, in a 30-11 affair. In another Championship game, we have a 30-20 game. Still lots of time left, and as we have seen at the Elite Team Tournament, no lead is ever safe! #BeElite –@JakerBaker58

2:37PM- All-Star Games underway and Award Winners announced:
NBA East MVP – Romello Walker (South Kent (Conn.) School/6-6/2014)
NBA West MVP – Evan Lester (Archbishop Carroll (D.C.)/6-5/2014)
Fab Frosh/Super Soph MVP – Matt DeWolf ( Barrington (R.I.)/6-7/2016)
A full list of award winners, championship recaps and all-stars will follow. –@pfebbraro

3:21PM– Parker Hess (Westfield, N.J. 2016) received MVP honors for the FabFrosh/SuperSophomore All-Star game. He finished the game with 14 points including four threes. Matt Zignorski (Pope John XXIII, N.J. 2015) scored 18 points to go along with 10 assists to win NBA East All-Star game MVP. Jeremy Del Valle (Hackettstown, N.J. 2015) finished with 20 points to win the NBA West All-Star game MVP. –@CabWashington
