Adam Turner

“As someone who has been involved with the Hoop Group as a player, coach, camp director and recruiter I can tell you there is not a better place as a basketball junkie to spend 4 days. The quality of talent amongst the players and coaches involved with the Hoop Group is unmatched anywhere in grassroots basketball. In a world where so many events and camps promise things they can’t deliver, Hoop Group Elite is the exception. You will receive instruction from some of the best up and coming teachers in the game, get to compete against the highest caliber of talent, and be seen by hundreds upon hundreds of college coaches from all levels.”

Turner, a 2006 graduate of Bard, took over as head coach in 2009. He was a four-year starter and three-year captain for the Raptors, earning DIII News All-American status twice. He still holds the Bard career mark for points with 1,785.

Upon graduation, Turner took his first step into the collegiate coaching ranks as an assistant for the Raptors during the 2006-07 season. Turner was involved in many aspects of the program both on and off the court, and was heavily involved in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.

Additionally, Turner directed two youth tournaments annually involving up to 100 teams, organized over 25 clinics for youths of all ages, as well as assisted in the administration of a variety of high school showcase events and AAU tournaments.
