Quade Green Turning Corner as True Point Guard

Nobody can deny that Quade Green is a High Major, special talent who is capable of scoring the ball in bunches. However, because Quade has had such a knack for scoring the basketball for Philadelphia power, Neumann Gorretti, at times in past years Quade’s ability to lead his team and make everyone around him better has come into question by some.

After seeing him play with his high school team numerous times this year, and watching him play with the ultra talented 17U EYBL PSA Cardinals this past weekend, it is obvious that Quade is ready to shine as one of the best TRUE point guards in the country.
Throughout the weekend, two lopsided Cardinals wins, Quade had double digit assists in each game and failed to record a single turnover. However, his ability to LEAD a group of High Major players, who he has only played with for a few weeks, may have been the most impressive thing about his performance.

Constantly talking and communicating, while putting his teammates in the best possible situation to succeed, Quade was showing many of the point guard qualities of a young Tyler Ulis. As his perception as a point guard continues to change as people watch him play, one thing that will never change is the fact that Quade is a FLAT OUT winner.
