Linden Looks to be Dominant Public School

When it comes to New Jersey High School Basketball few teams stand amongst Linden H.S. because of how competitive Phil Colicchio’s group is every single season. This season one of Colicchio’s standout players is class of 2017 guard Khalief Crawford. Crawford has done a good job establishing a name for himself both on the high school and AAU circuit. Crawford and the rest of the Tigers will play The Hun School in the Hoop Group Tip-Off Showcase. The junior guard is ready for this weekend.

“We are excited and are up to the challenge for this weekend,” he said.

He has been focusing on improving two parts of his game heading into this season.

“I’ve been hitting the weight room and becoming a leader for this upcoming season,” said the junior guard.

Crawford has set out three goals for his team.

“My goal is to win the counties, a state championship and TOC,” Crawford said.

He is trying to get the most out of his teammates this year and in order to do that Crawford believes two facets of the game are most important.
