2025 Hoop Group Player of the Year | Addy Nyemchek

Tiny Green

Many people believe  ADDY NYEMCHEK right now is the most complete player in the state of New Jersey . They may be right because when you ask, what is her weakness? It's hard to find one these days. Addy Nyemchek is easily the best defender in the state and certainly one of the best rebounding swing players in the entire state. But above all, Addy Nyemchek's ability to rise the level of play of her teammates have no match. She simply is a giver and never concerns herself with stats. When you have a star player not interested in stats and yet puts up stats, they are like the Lock Ness Monster.. rarely seen. But the one thing that separates Addy Nyemchek maybe from every great player I know, is this. She is liked and has gained the respect of everyone. She has no haters and that's because Addy knows basketball is team sport built on trust and respect. She just happens to be good at. But she is better at building friends and being loyal to all those around her, be it teammates or competitors . These are reasons why ADDY NYEMCHEK is the 2025 HOOP GROUP PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Soon the Shore Conference coaches All Division and ALL Shore Teams will come out. Like every year the coaches will try and share the wealth. They will try to make as many kids happy as possible. Some of the voting will be downright silly. Soon you'll also hear all the talk about how everyone has an opinion and it should be respected. But me myself… forget it. I 100% don't respect everyone's opinion. Now I understand for many kids this is their last time and chance to be in the spotlight. I am okay with letting those kids shine for a day. But make no mistake, ADDY NYEMCHEK is the best player in the Shore Conference. She also is trying to make a case to be on the Mt Rushmore of all time Shore players. She is only a junior. One of the few rare Juniors to be named player of the year along with Madison St. Rose. Yes Addy Nyemchek, is in rare air.

Nobody has made more big plays in big games over a career than Addy Nymchek. It could be a block shot vs Ewing, when time is running out. It could be a pass vs St. Rose to win a SCT CHIP. It could be a steal when all hope appears gone, maybe a last second shot in the State Tournament. You see Addy Nymchek can beat you in so many ways on both side of the ball. Soon Addy will be named The Hoop Group Defensive Player of the year. The real award that Addy Nymchek should receive is the TEAMMATE OF THE YEAR. You see Addy Nymchek does the winning shit.

Addy Nyemchek has the ability to see things happen and react before everyone else. She reads game at a different level then most which elevates her teammates to their best level. I have never coached a kid who impacts game in so many ways. Everyday she has one goal and the that's winning. RBC HEAD COACH, JOE MONTANO

See when you talk about ADDY NYEMCHEK, you don't talk about stats, hype and personal accomplishments. You talk about unselfishness, team accomplishments. You don't about national rankings and recruitment. You talk about character and humbleness. You see Addy Nymchek, is different than most stars. She doesn't need to be told she is a star. She doesn't need the special treatment. That's because secretly she must know, she is the best player in the shore Conference. There is little if any debate about this, when the real basketball folks speak. Her Coach Joe Montano calls her "the Larry Bird" of girls basketball. I simply call her "THE BAD WOMAN"

This is just another award for Addy Nyemchek. She won just about every personal award a player can win. Freshman of the Year, All Defensive Team. And soon she most likely will be the unanimous choice for SHORE CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE YEAR by every media outlet and blogger. She will be named First Team All State in every media outlet and blogger. These are nice things that come your way when you a special player. It's great for a kids parents, family and friends. These are feel good moments well earned and deserved. But I give you something to ponder. Did you notice I did not talk about stats when discussing Addy Nyemchek? I spoke about the person, the teammate, the winning and respect. You see Addy Nyemchek understands the power of being part of something special. Not trying to be special. Because that's the key to truly being special…it's also why ADDY NYEMCHEK isTHE HOOP GROUP 2025 PLAYER OF THE YEAR
