HGHQ Tiny Green

Hoop Group First Team All Shore

For most of the season MADISON KOCIS of SJV was one of the best and most complete players in the Shore Conference. She has been at times treated as an outsider and not appreciated or recognized. But make no mistake, the former First 1st Team All Freshman member is one of the most efficient players in the state of New Jersey. But now she finally gets her due making The Hoop Group 1st team. Something which she earned by being one the best and most valuable guards in all of New Jersey. She was one of the most versatile combo guards in the state as well. Her ability to shoot the deep three, get to the foul line and post up were priceless. Her shot selection and IQ were off the charts. Her mobility on and off the ball on defense was never acknowledged. But certainly noticed by every single IVY LEAGUE TEAM with no exceptions recruiting her. She will also receive power five and offers from all levels of D1 basketball. Humble and gracious are some of the words used to describe MADISON KOCIS. She scored when called upon to do so, she rebounded in the most delicate of moments, played point guard when trust was desperately needed, was an elite passer and ball handler vs pressure. Her big play making ability and big shot making ability was a thing of beauty all season. She simply did it all … and it's why MADISON KOCIS just a junior, makes her first appearance on the HOOP GROUP ALL SHORE FIRST TEAM

Madison,  has an unbelievable work ethic and the time that she has put in showed this season.

Offensively she was our most consistent scoring threat, and her development on the defensive end was important to our team success.  The best part about Madison is that she is ultra competitive and as a coach I know that she is always going to give her top effort on the court., SJV COACH, DAWN KARPELL

It seems CHRISTINA LIGGIO has been around forever. The thought of her no longer terrorizing the Shore Conference seems unthinkable. She started her career as a HOOP GROUP FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR and now ends it as a 1st Team ALL SHORE player. She had what can only be called a dream season. She signed to play D1 basketball at the Naval Academy. She leaves a legacy as one of the most consistent players in RBC history. Playing more games than any player in school history. She has been a proven winner her entire career. She won a STATE CHIP last season and this year helped RBC win its first SCT chip in over a decade . She will most likely be an All State Player this season. She made a reputation for knocking down the big shot or making the big plays. She delivered in every big game for RBC this season. Her toughness and leadership were on full display all year. CHRISTINA LIGGIO closes her career as one of the best and most successful players in RBC history and as a THE 2025 HOOP GROUP FIRST TEAM ALL SHORE MEMBER

Christina Liggio can be best described as a winner. As a two year captain her leadership skills are outstanding. I don't think I have coached a player who has improved more offensively over a four year period. Her ability to score at different levels is elite. The whole Red Bank Catholic community is so proud she will be serving our country at the Naval Academy. RBC HEAD COACH, JOE MONTANO

Tessa Carman just completed another and final banner season. She was simply the best post player in the Shore Conference. But what is being forgotten is that she just may be the best post player in recent RBC history. She makes her first appearance on The HOOP GROUP 1st Team. She is the ultimate warrior and teammate. She is a shot blocking machine and often made the lane vs RBC a no enter zone. A physical rebounder, she was the anchor to RBC'S one and done philosophy. Her ability to step away and knock down jumpers was a developed skill set she turned it into a deadly weapon. Her ability to post up or shoot the three made her a nightmare matchup all season. Just like her ability to throw back breaking outlet passes for easy baskets. She set the tone for RBC's mental a physical toughness. Her game winning shot vs St. Rose in the SCT FINAL, will go down in RBC folklore. Along with Christina Liggio she played more games than any player in RBC history. She leaves RBC with a STATE TITLE AND SCT CHIP. Tessa will attend Monmouth University to continue her education and play D1 basketball. All these things add up to TESSA CARMAN being named to the 2025 HOOP GROUP 1ST TEAM ALL SHORE… did you really expect anything different?

Tessa Carman had her best season this year but her impact with her teammates off the court was as important as on the court. She is respected and admired by her teammates and coaches. She had timely baskets and rebounds to help her team win. She plays hurt and always puts success of team first. Tessa will be greatly missed next season. RBC HEAD COACH, JOE MONTANO

Jada Lynch is one of the most talented players on the state . Her strength and quickness are special and rarely seen. This season on the biggest stages she delivered her best performances. Like her show stopping 40 points vs RBC. It was a performance for the ages. It seemed the bigger the stage m, the bigger the performance by Jada Lynch. She seemed to know when to turn the afterburners on in the biggest of moments. Like in wins over RBC, SJV and Rutgers Prep. Jada Lynch became a true leader this year for St. Rose not just by her dynamic performances. But rather by having confidence in our teammates. It made her very special. Her passing ability and vision went almost unnoticed and taken for granted.  Just like her defensive game was overlooked all year. Jada Lynch guarded every position on the floor this season. She will enter next season as one of favorites as NEW JERSEY PLAYER OF THE YEAR. Only a junior her numbers while playing what many believe was the toughest in state schedule were jaw dropping …18.6 points a game , 6.6 Rebounds and 51 assists while scoring her 1,000 point. These are the reasons JADA LYNCH makes her first appearance on the 2025 HOOP GROUP ALL SHORE FIRST TEAM

teevan
The rise of Mackenzie Teevan has been due to a once in a lifetime work ethic. What she has accomplished cannot be put into words. The 6'4" HOMDEL center has established herself as one of the most dominant players in the Shore. She was a walking double/double this season. More impressive despite seeing double and triple teams all season. She still was able to score a mind blowing 500 points, grab 300 rebounds and have 57 block shots. She scored her 1000th point this season as well. What also stood out most about her this season, is they she out played the best forwards in the Shore in head to head competition. Regardless if it was RBC or SJV, it didn't matter, Mackenzie Teevan got her numbers. She led a young Holmdel team to a surprising season with her performances. She had 18 double/doubles and a season high 37 points. She will go down as one of the best players in Holmdel history. Mackenzie Teevan will continue to her education at D1 Holy Cross. She makes her first 2025 HOOP GROUP ALL SHORE FIRST

Mackenzie Teevan's impact on our program goes far beyond the stat sheet, though her numbers speak for themselves—1,167 points, 769 rebounds, and 177 blocks over her career. A true leader, Mackenzie embraced every challenge, carrying the pressure of competing against the best teams in the state with poise and determination. Whether it was stepping up in big moments or setting the tone for her teammates, she consistently led by example. While she's an incredible player, she's an even better person—hardworking, selfless, and the kind of teammate every coach hopes for. Her legacy will be felt long after her final game, and we couldn't be prouder of all she's accomplished. HOLMDEL HEAD COACH, Jessica Venturelli
